Autumn / Winter 2015

S.U.I.T / suːt / Smart. Uniform, Impeccably. Tailored. The development of Avec Ces Frere’s 2nd Autumn/Winter Collection began with a single image.

S.U.I.T

Founded in London the ACF was first created by former Savile Row designer Sam Lambert and media artist and stylist Shaka Maidoh to provide a conceptual platform for both their formal work as a styling and design duo as well as their non-commercial research and more art-oriented activity.

This was an image of a proud young African who inspired a generation of brave men in the region. For Lambert and Maidoh, the way that Kello presented himself manifested exactly the unapologetic independence, toughness, refinement and soul they aim to express with their hybridized Sart-Core approach to modern tailored menswear.
